Kerra received her Master’s degree from George Washington University in Biomedical Engineering and her Bachelor’s Degree from Bucknell University in Mechanical Engineering. At GW, she contributed to the development of a biologically inspired artificial actuator for drug delivery applications. Previous research experiences focused on designing affordable and accessible medical devices for ALS patients and HIV patients. In her free time, Kerra enjoys exploring DC, horseback riding, and spending lots of time with her dog.
