Adrianna Williams is a rising senior at Duke University studying Neuroscience with a minor in African and African American studies and a certificate in Science and Society. She is also a pre-med student and plans to attend medical school after graduation. Adrianna’s specific interests in health policy include communications, social determinants of health, and health insurance reform. Outside of the classroom, Adrianna is an active member of her local and national communities. With a passion for storytelling, Adrianna has been a member of The Bridge, an online publication at Duke and UNC that uplifts women of color. Most recently, she served as the Duke Editor in Chief during the 2019-2020 academic year. Adrianna is also an active member of the Lambda Omega Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated and a volunteer with FEMMES (Females Excelling More in Math, Science, and Engineering). In her spare time, Adrianna enjoys working out, cooking (especially seafood dishes), watching The Office, and treating herself to pedicures and massages.
