Anna Sofia Garza Venegas

Anna Sofia Garza Venegas is a first-year MBA student at Duke's Fuqua School of Business, pursuing a Health Sector Management certificate. At Fuqua, she is a Snow Family Scholar, Forté Fellow, and Duke New Ventures Fellow, and served on the MBA Association Health & Wellness Cabinet. Prior to Fuqua, she spent two years at McKinsey & Company in Latin America, where she worked in healthcare and consumer sectors. Anna Sofia supports research with the ALIGN Consortium, a multi-country initiative to strengthen how health innovations are introduced and prioritized, by planning for a cross-country learning network and building out a market intelligence data hub that centralizes data to inform country-level decision-making. As a Margolis Intern, she plans to build the policy fluency that complements her business background and deepen her understanding of how change can be driven across private and public sectors to improve health outcomes globally. She looks forward to connecting with other interns who share that same curiosity about the space.
