Chris Crider

Chris Crider is a Research Director on the Health Care Transformation team at Duke-Margolis. She has more than 15 years of experience working at the intersection of Medicaid, public health, and health care payment and delivery reform, partnering with states and federal agencies to improve outcomes, reduce costs, and advance health equity.

Most recently, Chris led state advocacy work for the Pew Charitable Trusts State Health Solutions project, partnering with policymakers to help states build stronger partnerships between their public health and Medicaid agencies. Before joining Pew, Chris was a deputy division director at the Center for Medicare and Medicaid Innovation, where she worked with states on payment models designed to improve population health, reduce disparities, strengthen primary care, and curb cost growth. She holds a bachelor's degree from The George Washington University and an MPH from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
