Elizabeth Staton is a Policy Analyst with the Biomedical Innovation team. She comes to the Center from Charles River Associates where she consulted for research-based biopharmaceutical companies and industry associations in their policy projects. She has experience working on topics including antimicrobial resistance, health disparities and inequities in the U.S., intellectual property rights and innovation incentives, medicines access barriers, and a range of therapy areas. She is a former intern at the San Mateo County Legal Aid where she helped clients through administrative casework and advocacy, especially to help Medi-Cal beneficiaries reduce their share of cost. Elizabeth graduated from Swarthmore College where she majored in Economics and Philosophy.
