Kate Davidson is Area Lead for Strategic Partnerships for Health Care Transformation at Duke-Margolis. She coordinates and supports the expanding West Health Accelerator projects and related initiatives, with a major focus on Medicare and Medicaid reform and public-private collaboration to transform health care. Kate has extensive experience as a leader in health policy and health reform, most recently as Director of the Learning and Diffusion Group at the CMS Innovation Center. At this cross-cutting group responsible for the Center’s implementation and quality improvement science, she led efforts to engage a wide range of organizations and stakeholders in learning and diffusion of effective reforms in payment and care. Kate has also held several other leadership roles in health and health policy, including the National Council for Mental Wellbeing, Liberty Resources Inc., and New York Foundling, including on-the-ground leadership in developing and implementing more person-centered care models.
