Lucas Stewart, MPP plays a key role in expanding the Center's quantitative research capabilities, including analyzing health care claims data and other data sources. He is involved with data management, developing statistical analysis programs (such as in SAS), creating analytic data sets, and other programming activities. In addition to the quantitative work, he is involved in qualitative research and policy analysis.
Prior to earning his Masters in Public Policy at Sanford, Lucas worked as a Health Policy Analyst at the Vanderbilt University School of Medicine, focusing on infant and maternal health and dual-eligible beneficiaries. His research interest is in addressing mental health issues among low-income individuals. Lucas received his Bachelors of Science in Economics from the University of Tennessee.
