Riya Mohan
Riya Mohan is a rising sophomore at Duke University planning to pursue a Program II degree in the intersection of public policy, computer science, and global health. She is currently working on multiple research projects, such as one regarding the reproductive capabilities of a fungal strain that causes complications in HIV-positive and immuno-compromised patients as well as an independent study into the ethical and regulatory issues of genetic engineering. Additionally, Riya enjoys working in a hands-on manner to create sustainable change, collaborating with her peers at the university, and innovating through a diverse array of interests/experiences. This summer, Riya will be working on two projects; researching Alzheimer's disease therapies and data visualization.
