Accelerating Delivery System and Payment Reform in the Safety Net

The Duke-Margolis Center for Health Policy is hosting a webinar on February 28, 2023 to discuss strategies to improve care in the safety net through value-based payment reform. The event will explore key policy and payment opportunities on both the federal and state level to support broader safety net engagement in VBP. The webinar will include a panel with exemplar safety net providers from the field, as well as a policy panel with representatives from the CMS Innovation Center, Department of Health and Human Services, and policy experts on Medicaid, HRSA, and other crucial safety net funding sources. The panels will discuss key strategies and supports needed for safety net providers to succeed in VBP models and identify federal and state policy levers to drive value-based payment reform in the safety net.
