Ananya Sridhar, BS '26

Ananya Sridhar, a junior from Dallas, TX, is working towards a Biomedical Engineering degree at the Pratt School of Engineering while pursuing a Certificate in Health Policy. Her multifaceted involvement on campus reflects her passion for her field and extracurricular interests. An active participant in the Biomedical Engineering Society and a proud member of the Society of Women Engineers (SWE), Ananya is deeply engaged in her chosen discipline's academic and social aspects. Additionally, she contributes her talents to Lasya, Duke's Indian classical dance team, showcasing her commitment to cultural expression and the arts. On the sports front, Ananya holds a significant role as part of the executive board for Duke's Taekwondo team, where she excels in martial arts and competes nationally. Her dedication to taekwondo takes her across the country, showcasing her prowess and sportsmanship in various competitions. Through the Margolis Scholar program, Ananya aims to bridge the gap between biomedical engineering and health policy, with a focus on bioethics. She looks forward to learning from and collaborating with the Margolis Center faculty and her fellow scholars, expanding her understanding of the healthcare ecosystem, and developing the skills to nurture her passion for ethical considerations in engineering and healthcare policy.
