Margolis Summer Interns
Ankita Patil
Ankita Patil is a rising junior at The College of New Jersey majoring in Social Psychology and minoring in Public Health. She is currently a research assistant at the Brigham & Women's Hospital where she is evaluating data on the treatment of incarcerated individuals during the COVID-19 outbreak. Through her research and experiences outside of the classroom, she understands that providing proper medical care to patients involves decisions made by researchers and policy makers. Ankita hopes to contribute to the field of medicine by becoming a physician for those in ICE Detention Centers and carcel settings while also helping to set policy programs involving health care issues of public concern. This summer, Ankita will be researching population health management.
