Brianna Van Stekelenburg is a Research Associate with the Duke-Margolis Institute for Health Policy supporting health care delivery and payment reform projects with a particular emphasis on North Carolina’s health care transformation and helping lead the Institute's maternal and child health efforts. Brianna brings extensive research and policy experience related to women and families. Prior to joining Duke-Margolis, Brianna served in various research and policy roles at the NC Office of State Budget and Management on the health and education team, the NC Council for Women, and the Duke Center for Child and Family Health. She also has experience working with children and families to study factors that influence child development. Brianna received her Master's in Public Policy from the Sanford School of Public Policy at Duke University and her Bachelor's Degree in International Studies and Spanish from the University of Mississippi.
