Chris Lea, (MD '23)
Chris Lea is a medical student at Duke School of Medicine. In addition to being a medical student, Chris is part of the Health Professions Recruitment and Exposure Program and the Student National Medical Association. Chris also has a certificate in Theology and Health Care through Duke University’s Divinity School and a Bachelors of Science in Psychology also from Duke University. His interests include understanding the systems that youth and young adults navigate to achieve mental wellness. Chris believes that it is important to recognize how the experience of beneficiaries can translate into policy initiatives that allow youth to thrive. Chris chose the Margolis Scholars Program because of the opportunity to learn from and inspire change alongside thoughtful faculty and colleagues from across diverse disciplines.
