Margolis Summer Interns
Christy Craig
Christy Craig is a Master of Public Health student in Health Policy at the Gillings School of Global Public Health at the University of North Carolina. Christy developed an interest in public health after working as a medical scribe in the Emergency Department and taking a course on Global Health and the Sustainable Development Goals. These experiences led her to consider the effects of policy and the social determinants of health on health outcomes. As a result, she decided to pursue a Master’s in Public Health. Christy is passionate about equitable access to quality care and solutions targeting fragmented services. This summer, Christy will be assisting with a project on care integration for the dual-eligible population.
