Danah Younis
Danah Younis is a rising senior at Duke University majoring in Public Policy and minoring in Arabic. At Duke, she enjoys volunteering with the Kenan Institute for Ethics's Refugee Project and working on La fabrique du Caire moderne, a project mapping the urbanization of Modern Cairo, Egypt. She is passionate about addressing health disparities in minority groups in the medical field and wants to integrate her passions and love for humanities in a future career as a physician. Danah currently is a Bass Connections student, working on the Evaluating Strategies to Reduce the Global Burden of Hearing Loss team, and has enjoyed learning more about health economics with the team. This summer, Danah will continue to work on this research.
