Eddie Rego MD/MBA'26

Eddie is an MD/MBA dual degree student. Prior to Duke, he received his MPH from Dartmouth College with a concentration in Health Policy and Clinical Practice. He has also worked as a Programs Manager for the Health Council of Southeast Florida public health organization, where he was the lead-manager for the state-wide Florida Asthma Coalition program. At Duke, Eddie is an Executive Board member of the Duke chapter for the Institute for Healthcare Improvement, helping to oversee the Quality and Innovations Scholars Program. In addition to being a Margolis Scholar, Eddie is a recipient of the Manning Family Foundation Scholarship in Health Care Business Leadership. As a Margolis Scholar, Eddie looks forward to collaborating with other Margolis Scholars and faculty to make health care safer, less complicated, and more affordable, with the ultimate goal of better patient outcomes.
