Elizabeth Kayzman
Elizabeth Kayzman is a senior at Duke University double majoring in Neuroscience and Global Health with a minor in Chemistry on the pre-med track. At Duke, she works with the "Evaluating Strategies to Reduce the Global Burden of Hearing Loss" Bass Connections Team. Elizabeth also leads the Student Outreach Committee of a mental health awareness organization on campus called NeuroCare for which she plans education and wellness events for the student body. At the Margolis Center, Elizabeth is working with the Lancet Commission Team for Reducing the Global Burden of Hearing Loss with a focus on evaluation of barriers, strategies, and models associated with promoting hearing healthcare around the world. Her goal is to contribute to evidence-based policy interventions and improved hearing health in international communities through the research of the project. This summer, Elizabeth will continue her work on the Lancet Bass Project.
