Emily Zhen is a rising junior at Duke University majoring in Biology with minors in Economics and Global Health. She is interested in the intersection of healthcare and business, particularly how to achieve greater global health equity. At Duke, she is involved in research in the Medical Cognition Lab, Business Oriented Women’s External Initiatives Committee, Duke’s chapter of Camp Kesem, and the Student Dining Advisory Committee. In addition to her extracurricular commitments, Emily loves to dance, cook, and bake. This summer, she looks forward to working with the Center for Policy Impact in Global Health team to conduct research on rethinking global health multilateralism with Dr. Gavin Yamey.
