Emma graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Biology, minor in Medical Anthropology, from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in May 2020. She then decided to pursue a dual degree program at the Eshelman and Gillings School of Global Public Health to delve deeper into the intersection of pharmacy and public health. This journey has led her to diverse healthcare settings, from some of the most underserved areas in North Carolina to one of the state's well-resourced hospitals. Her current interest lies in using quantitative methods to merge her pharmacy and public health knowledge, with the ultimate goal of improving patient outcomes. Emma looks forward to collaborating with the Real World Evidence team to further explore the implementation of pharmacogenomics
