Josee Li, BA/BS '23

Josee Li is a 3rd-year undergraduate student at Duke University. Josee is currently pursuing an undergraduate degree in Program II focused on Global Disability and Health: Policy, Practice, and Narratives. She is interested in studying global methods and models in increasing healthcare access and equity, especially through analyzing attitudinal and policy barriers in the disability community. Her involvement on campus includes being the Co-President of the Duke Student Collaborative on Health Policy (SCOHP), a student-led organization. Josee is also a 2021 Duke-Margolis Intern and a Margolis Scholar.

For the 2021-2022 academic year, Josee is excited for an immersive experience of peer and professional mentorship, research development, and community networking with her fellow Scholars and Margolis faculty. She hopes to ultimately develop an expansive knowledge and skills base to support and impact her local community through academia and service.
