Kami Pullakhandam

Kami Pullakhandam is a rising senior at Duke University majoring in Global Health and Public Policy Studies. At Duke, Kami is involved in Project Heal, the Duke Children's Ambassador Program, and works with the WISH Bass Connections team. Kami hopes to blend her future medical education with knowledge regarding health policy and social determinants of health to examine systemic factors that prevent equitable healthcare. This summer, Kami will be working with the Center for Child and Family Policy on an exploratory study examining intimate partner violence, in conjunction with Duke Health.
