Lauren Holt graduated with her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Angelo State University in 2013, where she participated as a student-athlete and later obtained her MSN in Nursing Education. Upon graduation, she then moved to Austin, Texas, where she worked as a registered nurse and adjunct faculty member at Austin Community College. Her work with HIV patients in Austin and Honduras, inspired her interest in sexual and reproductive health research and policy. Lauren is interested in researching the influence of sex education policies on sexual and reproductive health outcomes in adolescent and young adult women.
