Maryam Nafie is a policy analyst supporting the Institute’s Real-World Evidence Collaborative. She manages the International Harmonization of Real-World Evidence (RWE) Standards Dashboard and contributes to the Shaping the US & International RWE Policy Landscape workstream. During her time at Margolis, Maryam has collaborated on additional projects on synthetic data, precision medicine and the general regulatory acceptability of RWE. Prior to Duke-Margolis, Maryam conducted research on health disparities in pediatric asthma and neurotropic viruses. She graduated from Wellesley College in 2022 with a major in Neuroscience and a minor in Comparative Race and Ethnicity.
