Maryam Nafie is a Policy Research Assistant supporting the Center’s Real-World Evidence portfolio. Maryam graduated in 2022 cum laude from Wellesley College with a major in Neuroscience and a minor in Comparative Race and Ethnicity. She holds undergraduate research experience using stem cells to investigate the differences between Parkinson’s and control cell lines’ responses to viral infection and examining differences in graph presentation to influence public health-related decision-making. In addition to her undergraduate studies and research, Maryam was also involved in on-campus organizations including Wellesley College’s African Student Association and Al-Muslimat.
