Meera Patel

Meera Patel is a sophomore from Charlotte, NC planning to pursue a Program II major exploring the Application of Ethics and Ethical Principles to the Biomedical field. Meera is active in Duke RAM, the SAGE program, and Duke Club Taekwondo, and in the future, she hopes to be a practicing pediatric oncologist looking at ways to make healthcare more equitable. Meera is excited to continue thinking about critical issues spanning the morality of current medical and healthcare issues as a Huang Fellow this summer and will be exploring how we can devise solutions to some of our most pressing health problems in society as a Margolis student intern.
