Meghan earned her B.S. in Human Ecology: Family, Child and Consumer Sciences and Juris Doctor/Doctor of Civil Law from Louisiana State University. She is also a graduate of the UCLA/Johnson & Johnson Health Care Executive Program. Prior to Fuqua, Meghan began her career in the medical malpractice defense and healthcare regulatory groups of a large corporate defense firm in Louisiana. At Fuqua, Meghan is a Center for the Advancement of Social Entrepreneurship (CASE) Scholar and a CASE Fellow and is a member of the Health Sector Management program. Additionally, she served as a student consultant for a global human development nonprofit, FHI 360, as part of the Fuqua Client Consulting Practicum. Meghan is currently a Summer Associate on the Global Delivery Programs: Health Funds and Partnerships team at the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation. This fall, she will serve as the Chief Strategy Officer of North Carolina’s Integrated Care for Kids, one of eight national initiatives that aims to integrate a variety of services that children receive from different agencies and providers, including those for physical and behavioral health, housing, food, early care and education, child welfare, mobile crisis response services and juvenile justice and safety.
