Rachel Holtzman, (MPP '23, JD '23)
Rachel earned her BSPH in Health Policy and Management at the UNC Gillings School of Global Public Health. Prior to beginning at Duke, she worked at the National Health Law Program in Washington, DC where she assisted in policy advocacy related to Medicaid and the Affordable Care Act. Rachel also served as a Peace Corps Volunteer in Nepal, where she worked with community leaders to facilitate maternal and child health projects. Rachel's interests include health equity, access to care, and ways to address the social determinants of health for low-income and underserved communities in the South.
