Rebecca Stern

Becca Stern is a member of the UNC Class of 2025 from Malvern, PA. She recently graduated with a degree in Health Policy and Management from the Gillings School of Global Public Health and a minor in Women's and Gender Studies. She also studied at Duke University through the Robertson Scholars Leadership Program. In Chapel Hill, Becca was an advocate with the Community Empowerment Fund, sang as a member of the Loreleis, was a peer educator with Violence Prevention and Advocacy Services, and was involved with reproductive health research at Duke. She has centered the last four years on her interest in policy, reproductive health, rights, and justice, and health justice. In her free time, she enjoys backpacking, rock climbing, biking, and traveling. This summer, Becca is excited to learn more about value-based care and work with the North Carolina Healthcare Transformation team.
