Margolis Summer Interns
Saira Nagda
Saira is a rising junior at Duke University majoring in Public Policy and Global Health with a minor in Economics. She is from Alexandria, Virginia, just outside of DC. At Duke, she has become particularly interested in the role of capital and effective resource allocation in addressing pressing health challenges. This has led her to explore the intersection of health policy and economics, with a focus on shaping sustainable, data-driven solutions to promote global health equity. This summer, she will be working alongside Dr. Kate Bundorf, researching the dissemination of health care technologies, specifically examining differences in adoption rates across groups and their implications for health care utilization and outcomes. Saira is excited to work at the intersection of healthcare, economics, and AI/innovation, and looks forward to collaborating with fellow interns and mentors. In her free time, Saira enjoys running, travel, spending time with friends and family, and is an avid sports fan.
