Valerie J. Parker is a Research Associate at Duke-Margolis who is matrixed across the Digital Health, Real-World Evidence and FDA Cooperative Agreement portfolios, specializing in the benefits and challenges around digitizing health data. Prior to returning to Duke-Margolis, Valerie worked at Amgen as a Global Regulatory Policy Manager, where she had the opportunity to focus on international device and clinical trial regulations. Valerie has also worked as an Implementation Project Manager at Epic Systems Corporation, specializing in electronic health records for emergency departments as well as interoperability capabilities. In her role at Duke-Margolis, Valerie leverages her unique background to develop policy solutions in the digital health and data space. Valerie received both her undergraduate and graduate degrees from Duke: a Master of Science in Global Health and a Bachelor of Arts in Cultural Anthropology.
