Ann Marie Flusche, MD '28/MBA '27

Ann Marie is a dual MD/MBA candidate at Duke University. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Tulsa, then spent a year conducting cancer research at UT Southwestern Medical Center. Before entering medical school, she worked as a venture capital associate at the Oklahoma Life Science Fund, where she supported early-stage healthcare startups. At Duke, Ann Marie serves as President of Students Who Sit and is an Executive Board member of the Institute for Healthcare Improvement, where she helps oversee the Quality and Innovation Scholars Program. In addition to being a Margolis Scholar, Ann Marie is a Forté Fellow and an HSM Impact Scholar. As a Margolis Scholar, Ann Marie looks forward to collaborating with peers and faculty to deepen her understanding of health policy and apply those insights to improve care delivery and outcomes for the patients she will serve.
