Margolis Summer Interns
Breanna Barrett, BA '25
Breanna Barrett is a sophomore at Duke University majoring in Psychology and Global Health. At Duke, she is a SPIRE fellow, Social and Publicity Chair of the Students of the Caribbean Association, and the underclassman liaison of Duke bioSTEMS. In addition to her active involvement in different clubs, Breanna also plays many percussion instruments, including the African drums and participates in fencing games. Breanna is interested in particularly how these policies negatively affect people of color and people in low- and middle income countries, and the interaction between business, law, and healthcare. This summer, Breanna worked with the Medical Legal Partnership project and is looking forward to understand how public health professionals strategize, identify, and target laws and policy changes to advance health justice. She is very excited to learn make new connection in the Margolis Center community. Bre will continue her work with the Medical Legal Partnerships project this Fall.
