Brendan Genaw, JD '26
Brendan is a second-year law student. Born and raised in Michigan, he earned a B.S. in biology from the University of Michigan in 2019. Prior to law school, Brendan served in the Peace Corps where he worked as a public health volunteer assisting a rural clinic in Togo with initiatives focused on malaria, polio, maternal healthcare, and HIV. Brendan also spent time at a startup incubator where he supported projects addressing critical healthcare needs such as distributing unused hospital resources to underserved areas, improving sanitation efforts in rural villages throughout India, and helping get Doulas into prisons to support pregnant incarcerated individuals. Brendan aspires to improve healthcare accessibility through new innovations and ideas in the healthcare space.
