Jeter Todd Sison, BA '27

Jeter Sison, Class of 2027, is an undergraduate from New York, majoring in public policy and global health. His academic interests bridge the sociological perspective of global health with the technological challenges of data privacy, focusing on advancing the rights to health and privacy. Jeter’s experience includes a research assistantship and an internship at the Future of Privacy Forum, where he examined the unique health privacy risks faced by high-risk communities, including LGBTQ+ people and older adults. On campus, Jeter participates in the Community-Facing Committee of the Duke Student Collaborative on Health Policy. He has previously led projects with Meals4Families and contributed as a Project Member with the North Carolina Alliance for Health. Jeter also connects students to service opportunities in Durham, NC as the Director of Communications for the Duke Partnership for Service.  In the future, Jeter aspires to leverage his academic background in health & tech policy as lawyer after pursuing a JD/MPP.
