Jiunn-Tyng Yeh, MA '25
Jiunn-Tyng Yeh (Tyng) is a master's student in the Bioethics and Science Policy program focusing on ethical and regulatory challenges associated with neurotechnologies and artificial intelligence in medicine. Tyng earned his M.D. from National Yang Ming Chiao Tung University in Taiwan in 2022 and completed a Ph.D. in Neuroscience at the University of Missouri-Columbia in 2019. Prior to his graduate studies at Duke, Jiunn-Tyng worked as a postdoctoral researcher at the Center for Artificial Intelligence in Medicine at Chang Gung Memorial Hospital in Taiwan. His research interests include ion channel electrophysiology, evidence-based medicine, neuroscience and medical AI. As a Margolis Scholar, Tyng is most excited to collaborate with expertises across disciplines to tackle the most challenging health policy problems and improve societal well-being.
