Kathryn Gluesenkamp, MPP '27

Kathryn Gluesenkamp is a Master of Public Policy student at Duke’s Sanford School of Public Policy and a Margolis Scholar. Originally from Wildwood, Missouri, Kathryn earned dual degrees in Economics and Public Health from the University of Missouri–Columbia in 2023. Before starting at Duke, she worked as a Research Associate at NORC at the University of Chicago, supporting federal and state health policy projects focused on Medicaid, including EPSDT and financial management reviews. Kathryn’s policy interests include Medicaid program design, healthcare affordability, and data-driven approaches to advancing health equity. As a Margolis Scholar, she looks forward to collaborating with peers and faculty to develop innovative, evidence-based solutions to improve the U.S. healthcare system.
