Katie Maddock, BA '27
Katherine Maddock is a member of the Class of 2027 at Duke University. She is pursuing a double major in Psychology and Public Policy, with a minor in Global Health. At Duke, Katherine is currently serving as an Equity & Outreach Senator for Duke Student Government, the President of Women's Wellness Club, a Health & Wellness Fellow for the Penny Pilgrim George Women's Leadership Initiative, and a Cardea Fellow. Additionally, she conducts research on cancer survivorship care and the motivating behaviors and policy implications of vaccine hesitancy through the Bass Connections initiative and Policy & Organizational Management Program, respectively. Katherine's passion lies in improving health equity through examining the intersection of law, business, and healthcare. Through the Margolis Scholars Program, Katherine looks forward to building new connections, exploring current health policy concerns, and experiencing a more involved health policy education.
