Marjan Ata MPP '27

Marjan is a Masters of Public Policy (MPP) student at Duke's Sanford School of Public Policy. Prior to attending Sandford, Marjan was a Senior Strategy Specialist at TennCare (Tennessee's Medicaid Agency) where she worked to design and lead a new hospital quality program. She also was a Governor's Management Fellow for the State of Tennessee. Marjan's interests in Medicaid and health policy began at Sewanee (University of The South), where she earned her BA in Economics and Political Science. As an incoming Margolis Scholar, Marjan is looking forward to learning and collaborating with policy and clinical practitioners.
