Pranav Mukund, B.S.E. '26
Pranav Mukund is an undergraduate majoring in biomedical engineering at Duke University. As a research assistant in the David Lab, he is dedicated to developing medical devices that enhance nurse safety, patient health, and data collection practices in hospital settings. Pranav is also actively involved in mentorship within the engineering space and collaborates with Duke Wellness to promote drug overdose education. His work extends to addressing health challenges in low-resource communities, where he focuses on innovative projects aimed at improving energy access as a means to support better health outcomes. With aspirations of becoming a physician-scientist, Pranav is excited to explore regulatory policy, health technology assessment, and innovation incentives through the Duke-Margolis Scholars program, and looks forward to engaging with a vibrant community of scholars.
