Seve graduated from UNC with a double major in Public Policy & Economics.While at UNC, Seve co-founded Get Covered Carolina, an organization licensed by the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services to help consumers access health insurance coverage through the Health Insurance Marketplace. After graduating, Seve worked as an intern and Field Organizer for a U.S. Senate campaign during the 2014 cycle. Prior to enrolling at Duke, Seve helped health care providers navigate strategic, financial, and operational challenges as an Engagement Manager with Optum Advisory Services—United Health Goup’s consulting division. Seve’s interests include big data & analytics, value-based care, price transparency, and health care politics. In his spare time, Seve serves on the External Advisory Board for the Honors Carolina program at UNC and serves as a young alumni mentor to students in the program.
