Katie is a Policy Research Associate on the Health Care Transformation team at Duke-Margolis. Her research generates evidence on health care delivery and payment reforms to advance whole-person health. Since joining Duke-Margolis in 2020, she has researched a variety of state and federal health policy issues, including Medicaid, health-related social needs and social drivers of health, health equity, specialty care reform, and pandemic response. Katie holds an MPH in Health Behavior from the UNC Gillings School of Global Public Health and a BA in Anthropology and Interdisciplinary Studies from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
